Nomaan K. Husain

Originally from Huffman, Texas, Mr. Nomaan K. Husain is the founder of Husain Law + Associates, PC. Mr. Husain maintains a diverse practice and has represented clients ranging from foreign governments in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, to small business owners and individuals in personal injury cases in the U.S. and abroad. He leads the practice with the belief that every client should be aggressively represented with due diligence to maximize each client’s recovery.

Mr. Husain is Board Certified in Personal Injury Litigation by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is licensed to practice in Texas, New York, District of Columbia, and is a licensed solicitor for England and Wales. He is also licensed to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Federal Court for the Northern, Southern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Texas, the Texas Supreme Court, and the New York Court of Appeals. Mr. Husain is a Certified Mediator and has successfully represented clients in both State and Federal Courts.

He is currently the chairman of the Ethics Commission for the City of Houston and the chairman of the South Asian Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the International Bar Association and the London Court of International Arbitration. He is also a member of the Multi-million dollar advocates’ forum and the U.S. Justice Department’s Community Liaison Committee and has served as a member of the State Bar of Texas Grievance Panel and the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Husain has also served as the Vice President of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and was a former commissioner for the Building and Standards Commission for the City of Houston.

Leigh S. Montgomery

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Ms. Montgomery is a Senior Associate. Ms. Montgomery attended Baylor University for her undergraduate studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurship

In the fall of 2005, Ms. Montgomery returned to Baylor Law School and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in just two and a half years. While attending Baylor Law, Ms. Montgomery remained on the Dean’s list for 6 of her 9 quarters at school and was admitted to the Order of the Barristers for her performance in the school’s Moot Court competition. Ms. Montgomery was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in May of 2008.

Ms. Montgomery has represented clients in a range of matters including business disputes, breach of contract, first-party insurance, and bad faith actions, deceptive trade practices, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice. Because of her broad range of experience, she is skilled at educating her clients about the law, as well as achieving the results her clients desire. Having helped to obtain millions of dollars in settlements for her individual and commercial clients, Ms. Montgomery uses her business background, as well as her experience in the courtroom to fight for her clients.

Amanda Wendenburg

Born in Boulder, Colorado, Ms. Wendenburg started her legal path attending the University of Saint Thomas and in 2006 graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in law. In 2012, she graduated with her Juris Doctorate in Law from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, which is ranked fourth in the nation for trial advocacy.

While in law school, Ms. Wendenburg received several prestigious recognitions including Dean’s List, multiple semesters; Scholar of Merit for Highest Grade in Payment Systems; Spirit of Service Award for commitment to community service and pro-bono work; and Book Award for Highest Grade in Lawyering Process (Legal Research & Writing). Ms. Wendenburg was admitted as a member of the State Bar of Texas in November 2012.

Ms. Wendenburg makes it her priority to provide each client with the care and attention that they need to overcome their difficult situations. She understands that every person's situation is unique. She believes that only by investigating the smallest details, asking the right questions, and truly listening to the client can a case be given the best possible chance to succeed. Joshua R. Leske

Joshua R. Leske is a Senior Associate with the firm. Originally from Victoria, Texas, Mr. Leske earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000. Following college, Mr. Leske worked as an adjuster for a nationally recognized insurance company.

Mr. Leske returned to Austin in 2004 and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas in 2007. While in law school, he was a member of the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Team and a Staff Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. He also earned the Sunflower Award in Insurance Law and the James R. Daugherty & Rachel Daugherty Vaughn Scholarship.

Mr. Leske focuses on obtaining optimal results for his clients who have been injured by the carelessness and recklessness of others. Since joining the firm, he has obtained over $6.5 million for his clients. In the past, he has handled a wide range of cases including environmental actions, insurance bad faith, oil and gas, admiralty and maritime, and medical malpractice.
